Rushville Consolidated High School is excited to offer our Criminal Justice program starting in the 2024-25 School year! This program will be housed at RCHS next school year and it will move off campus for the 2025-26 school year. Criminal Justice will be a two year program geared towards juniors and seniors. Next year, students will take two consecutive blocks of classes for the program at RCHS, Principles of Criminal Justice and Law Enforcement Fundamentals. During year 1 of the program, these classes will not be everyday. Due to the block schedule at RCHS, the classes will be every other day. Year two of the program will have classes everyday and will consist of Corrections and Cultural Awareness and the Criminal Justice Capstone Class.
Students that complete the Criminal Justice program will have opportunities for careers as:
Police Officer, Correctional Officer, Detective, Probation Officer, Private Investigator, Correctional Counselor, Security Guard, Bailiff, and many more.
